Responsibilities
- Clarify business requirements, evaluate solution options, and create technical designs and implementation plans with business and technology partners.
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and user experiences.
- Enhance ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and Now Assist.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, and other approved technologies.
- Deliver reusable, scalable, secure, user-friendly, and maintainable solutions while reducing technical debt.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities including refinement, estimation, sprint planning, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, peer reviews, and technical documentation.
- Resolve application and integration issues, analyze root causes, improve performance and reliability, and support upgrades, patches, hotfixes, releases, and post-release validation.
- Follow development standards, architecture guidance, security controls, governance requirements, and ServiceNow platform best practices.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent technical training, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires a college degree with at least 2 years of experience, a master's degree with no experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Enterprise experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, or platform support is preferred.
- ITIL certification, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification, and relevant ServiceNow Micro-Certifications are preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners, collaborate across teams, solve problems methodically, and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently on assignments of moderate scope and complexity and progress toward senior-level responsibilities.
