Base Salary
$85k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and demonstrate Smartsheet solutions that address specific customer problems.
- Lead technical sales engagements by gathering requirements, summarizing challenges, designing solutions, and providing technical guidance.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business processes and challenges.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to improve customer experience and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain knowledge of Smartsheet products, services, and competitors.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide customer feedback to Product teams.
- Travel periodically to customer sites as a technical subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Have 1–3 years of experience as a Presales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or in a related role within SaaS and enterprise B2B software.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, growth mindset, and the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize complex problems.
- Have experience leveraging and positioning AI during sales cycles.
- Have a proven track record selling to multiple lines of business.
- Possess strong technical skills and comfort working in ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
- Communicate and present technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understand project management methodologies and their practical business applications.
