Responsibilities
- Set and communicate long-term architectural vision across Twilio.
- Lead cross-product architecture reviews and standardize engineering practices.
- Solve complex technical challenges at platform and company-wide scale.
- Mentor and guide principal and staff engineers to foster engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and executive leaders on strategic direction.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience designing and scaling distributed systems.
- Ability to set technical vision and strategy at an enterprise level.
- Expertise in system design, reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and resolving complex technical problems.
- Proven record of mentoring senior engineering talent.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
