Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software applications.
- Develop software for Bare Metal and Linux-based embedded target environments.
- Implement software using C, C++, Python, and Linux tools.
- Perform kernel configuration and driver development.
- Apply object-oriented and test-driven software development practices.
- Contribute to software verification, security scanning, remediation, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Participate in project planning, effort estimation, Scrum ceremonies, and task execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to resolve technical issues and deliver projects.
- Document software designs, test results, and implementation details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience with hands-on coding across multiple technology stacks, including embedded software.
- Experience with formal software development processes, object-oriented development, and test-driven development.
- Experience developing for Bare Metal or Linux embedded target environments.
- Experience with kernel configuration and driver development.
- Strong C, C++, Python, and Linux experience.
- Understanding of cybersecurity issues and security scan tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, analytical, and relationship-building skills in diverse, matrixed, and multicultural environments.
- Angular and Electron experience is considered an advantage.
