Responsibilities
- Design and build LLM-powered agents for engineering coordination and risk management.
- Own the agent orchestration layer and evaluate new frameworks as they emerge.
- Implement tool-use patterns connecting agents to external systems via APIs.
- Design and tune prompts and retrieval strategies for agent effectiveness.
- Build infrastructure for agent performance evaluation and observability.
- Develop streaming interfaces for real-time user updates and alerts.
- Stay current with advancements in LLMs and agent frameworks.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on feature development.
- Contribute to AI architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience, with 2+ years in LLM-based applications.
- Proficiency in AI coding tools to accelerate development.
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems using frameworks like LangChain.
- Strong understanding of LLM fundamentals and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in Python for production environments.
- Experience integrating LLM features with external APIs and databases.
- Experience designing background job pipelines for agent operations.
- Ability to evaluate and adopt new AI tools quickly.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and practices.
