Base Salary
$203k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the internal AI platform, including the agent harness, MCP servers, tool integrations, context and access services, sandboxed execution, and cost and usage tracking.
- Embed with Finance, Sales Ops, Compliance, and onboarding teams to understand workflows and replace manual processes with adopted systems.
- Extend data infrastructure using dbt models, BigQuery, orchestration, and production pipelines.
- Share ownership of monitoring, alerting, and data reliability for systems supporting product launches.
- Partner with Engineering to improve development systems and tooling.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience shipping and maintaining production systems.
- Experience building an internal platform or workflow system adopted by other teams.
- Production experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and MCP beyond prompting.
- Strong TypeScript/Node or Python fundamentals, willingness to work in both, and fluency with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Ability to work with non-technical teams to understand their workflows and build appropriate systems.
- Comfort working with ambiguity in a startup environment.
- Experience in payments, crypto, or blockchain is preferred but not required.
- Based in Los Angeles or open to relocating to Los Angeles, California.
