Base Salary
$99k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
- Develop monitoring solutions and improve platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation.
- Perform software maintenance and configuration and implement fixes for internally developed code.
- Work alongside development teams on AWS projects and update or enhance existing software.
- Automate support processes and document systems.
- Deploy AWS Systems Manager services to air-gapped regions and support government customers operating in those regions.
- Update, track, and resolve technical challenges while designing operational scalability for the platform.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- At least 1 year of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Current, active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain required TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or an equivalent agency-specific clearance.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of administrative experience with networking, storage systems, and operating systems, plus hands-on systems engineering experience.
- Preferred: programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Preferred: experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java, with PowerShell preferred.
- Preferred: current, active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
