Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using architectural best practices.
- Apply Core Java expertise, including multithreading and the Collections framework.
- Use the Spring Framework for application development.
- Create and optimize SQL queries and work extensively with Oracle databases.
- Apply software engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Manage source code with Git or Bitbucket.
- Maintain code quality using tools such as Sonar.
- Design and implement unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing and implementing complex software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services, including XML and JSON.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, multithreading, the Collections framework, and Spring Framework.
- Strong experience with Oracle and SQL query development.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket for source code management.
- Understanding of clean coding principles and code-quality measurement tools such as Sonar.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of cloud-native development principles is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration tools is desirable.
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka is desirable.
