Responsibilities
- Own and maintain shared frontend libraries, including packaging, versioning, distribution, and frontend asset build and continuous deployment systems.
- Improve the frontend engineering experience through shared patterns, testing strategies, and tooling.
- Architect and implement frontend platform projects involving micro frontend patterns, performance, accessibility, and large-scale technical initiatives.
- Design agentic observability, codebase structures, agent best practices, adversarial oversight, and deterministic guardrails.
- Guide engineers in breaking work into pieces that AI agents can execute reliably.
- Mentor and train engineers and provide feedback on code and architecture decisions across distributed teams.
- Partner across departments to prioritize major initiatives and solve complex operational and technical problems.
- Evaluate and guide adoption of evolving infrastructure tools and patterns.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large-scale development environments and building supporting frameworks, especially frontend frameworks.
- Expertise with modern frontend technologies such as React and familiarity with legacy technologies such as Dojo.
- Significant coding experience in Node, Python, PHP, Go, or similar languages.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and data-driven decision-making skills for complex web applications.
- Experience using agent-driven development and reviewing agent-generated output to a high quality standard.
- Strong written communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams.
