Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and architect enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Implement ORM/JPA/Hibernate models and integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Build, optimize, troubleshoot, and orchestrate microservices and support migrations from monolithic architectures.
- Develop responsive, high-performance UI components with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React, and integrate them with backend services.
- Lead requirements gathering, design reviews, code reviews, technical specifications, testing, and implementation planning.
- Own application scope, enhancement planning, change requests, enterprise solution reviews, and cross-team coordination.
- Define architecture and long-term technology direction, anticipate future needs, and build consensus across engineering and stakeholder teams.
- Coordinate on-call support, own system monitoring processes, and assess end-to-end initiative impacts.
- Maintain customer relationships and collaborate with business, web, marketing, technical, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate and support the integration of AI/ML capabilities into enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus a minimum of 9 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including design, development, architecture, and technical leadership preferred.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, ORM frameworks, and Angular or React with TypeScript preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and core DevOps practices preferred.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components, evaluating AI frameworks, and implementing model inference pipelines, embeddings in microservices, vector stores, APIs, or cloud AI services preferred.
- Ability to lead technical strategy, architecture, requirements, stakeholder alignment, and enterprise-scale technology decisions.
