Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom ServiceNow Discovery patterns and Service Mapping solutions.
- Enhance and maintain the CMDB, including data accuracy, CI lifecycle management, reconciliation, and CMDB health.
- Integrate ServiceNow with Azure, AWS, GCP, and third-party platforms using MID servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and connectors.
- Develop scripts, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow Studio, JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and platform-native tools.
- Collaborate with ITSM, security, business, architecture, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Lead technical design sessions, contribute to architecture decisions, lead complex projects, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.
- Support testing, defect resolution, deployments, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, production support, governance, and continual improvement.
- Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience focused on ITOM and CMDB.
- In-depth knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB processes.
- Expertise with JavaScript, GlideScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, App Engine Studio, UI Builder, Configurable Workspace, Script Editor, and Portal Design.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Proven ability to design and implement custom scoped applications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and JIRA.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with multiple ServiceNow instances and leading technical projects.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, independence, and multitasking skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITOM, Discovery, or CMDB, CSA, Certified System Administrator, and Certified Application Developer certifications are strongly preferred.
