Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, create, and implement complete AI and machine learning systems for mission-oriented applications.
- Build, train, deploy, optimize, and integrate production-grade ML models across multiple data modalities.
- Architect solutions that scale with system usage and accommodate evolving mission requirements.
- Deploy software and ML solutions into varied Defense and Intelligence mission environments.
- Consider the broader operating ecosystem, future functionality, and system enhancements.
- Deploy and manage data brokering solutions when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an ML engineer, data scientist, analyst, or researcher.
- At least 2 years of professional or academic data science or data research experience, including training or deploying models across multiple data modalities.
- Experience building production-grade ML solutions.
- Programming experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, llama.cpp, or vLLM.
- Experience with deep learning, computer vision, neural networks, NLP, or signal processing projects.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: 3+ years working in cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
- Preferred: 2+ years deploying and integrating production-grade ML models with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with client engagements, client-facing project work, business development, and data brokering solutions using Kafka, Redpanda, and Confluent.
- Preferred: Top Secret clearance and a master’s degree.
