Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects and programs.
- Build or train AI models, tune hyperparameters, and develop enterprise generative AI and RAG solutions.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges involving technologies, procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges and meet client needs.
- Develop proof-of-concept or pilot solutions and evaluate emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and Angular or React, plus AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, model building or training, and hyperparameter tuning.
- Experience developing generative AI technologies and end-to-end RAG pipelines involving vector databases, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and context injection.
- Understanding of microservice-based distributed architectures, AWS, Azure, GCP, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Background in data science and analysis, including data processing, cleaning, statistical analysis, Hadoop, or Spark.
- Experience with REST or SOAP web APIs, CI/CD tooling such as Harness and Jenkins, Ansible, observability tools, and incident management tools.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and ServiceNow.
- Ability to solve complex problems with ambiguous requirements, identify emerging technology trends, and develop proof-of-concept solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile development strategies, Test Driven Development, and DevOps practices.
- Self-motivation and commitment to continuous learning through courses, certifications, and research papers.
