Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain client-side SDKs, middleware, APIs, and system software primarily using C/C++.
- Lead technical design discussions and drive architecture decisions for SDK and platform capabilities.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Own complex features through design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze and resolve issues involving performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Quality Engineering, and global engineering teams.
- Review designs and code while mentoring and providing technical guidance to other engineers.
- Improve development processes, branching strategies, release quality, and operational practices.
- Create SDK documentation, sample applications, developer tooling, and integration guidance.
- Support adoption and evolution of platform technologies across multiple products and teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of professional experience developing production software using C/C++.
- Experience designing and developing SDKs, frameworks, middleware, or complex client-side software systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, API design, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with client/server architectures, networking technologies, distributed systems, or platform services.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing architecture or design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional and globally distributed engineering organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
- Preferred experience with cross-platform SDKs, developer-experience tooling, documentation, automation, iOS or Android applications, React Native, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CI/CD systems, build infrastructure, release engineering, and testability or release-quality improvements.
