Base Salary

$157k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Write, review, debug, and maintain code across multiple technical areas.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use and promote validated AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, testing, code review, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve application coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation to improve delivery and operational outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across global teams.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java or Python.
  • Front-end development experience with React.
  • Cloud technology experience, including AWS.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems is preferred.
