Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Yutraffic Symphony product modules in Java and JavaScript.
- Build unit tests, perform manual testing, and support automated test development.
- Maintain CI pipelines in GitLab.
- Deploy and maintain modules in Kubernetes development and staging environments.
- Support legacy virtual-machine deployments and contribute to their migration to Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality and testability.
- Support production issue resolution when needed.
- Evaluate and address software vulnerabilities, including CVE findings.
- Build and evolve software for urban mobility and traffic management.
Requirements
- Strong Java skills, including experience with Java 8, 11, or 17+.
- Practical JavaScript experience, including vanilla JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Confident use of Git and GitLab or a similar platform, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Good Linux knowledge, including shell, Bash, and standard commands.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Ability to communicate in English and work daily with international colleagues.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred experience with SSH, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, React, Argo CD, Qooxdoo, AWS, Python, or ClearCase.
