Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Yutraffic Symphony product modules in Java and JavaScript.
  • Build unit tests, perform manual testing, and support automated test development.
  • Maintain CI pipelines in GitLab.
  • Deploy and maintain modules in Kubernetes development and staging environments.
  • Support legacy virtual-machine deployments and contribute to their migration to Kubernetes.
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality and testability.
  • Support production issue resolution when needed.
  • Evaluate and address software vulnerabilities, including CVE findings.
  • Build and evolve software for urban mobility and traffic management.

Requirements

  • Strong Java skills, including experience with Java 8, 11, or 17+.
  • Practical JavaScript experience, including vanilla JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
  • Confident use of Git and GitLab or a similar platform, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good Linux knowledge, including shell, Bash, and standard commands.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Ability to communicate in English and work daily with international colleagues.
  • Preferred experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
  • Preferred experience with SSH, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, React, Argo CD, Qooxdoo, AWS, Python, or ClearCase.
