Senior Software Engineer-SIP, Golang, C++

Responsibilities
- Design and architect high-throughput, stateless SIP microservices using Go with targets of 5,000+ TPS and sub-15ms latency.
- Implement protocol translation between SIP-over-TCP/TLS traffic and SIP-over-ZeroMQ internal services.
- Engineer concurrent, thread-safe messaging models using ZeroMQ Router/Dealer socket pooling and thread-bridging patterns.
- Integrate distributed state, automated cryptographic key rotation, leader election, and secure private-key storage.
- Build throttling, distributed batch scheduling, exponential backoff, and other surge-protection and reliability mechanisms.
- Partner with Network and Infrastructure teams on load-balancer routing, DNS SRV query logic, and OpenTelemetry distributed tracing.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SIP/VoIP and related telecom protocols.
- Deep hands-on experience with Go and proficiency in C++ or C.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency control, stateless proxies, and finite state machines.
- Hands-on experience with networking and messaging protocols including gRPC and RabbitMQ.
- Strong background with distributed databases such as Apache Ignite and GridGain.
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch for persistence and caching.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and explaining complex concepts.
- At least 8 years of industry experience.
