Responsibilities

  • Design and customize software applications based on system requirements.
  • Support software updates and releases to ensure seamless feature rollouts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify requirements and integrate tailored software solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote technical knowledge sharing.
  • Manage documentation for development activities.
  • Evaluate software performance metrics to improve reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to verify compliance with technical specifications.
  • Use market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and product improvements.
  • Participate in or lead peer programming, design sprint, and prototyping sessions.
  • Exercise independent judgment and maintain regular, punctual attendance, including nights and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience in place of the stated degree.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and use discretion in significant matters.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
