Responsibilities
- Design and develop business workflows, approval processes, task routing, SLA management, escalations, and exception handling with Apache Kogito, BPMN, and DMN.
- Build and maintain scalable, resilient Kogito services using Java and Quarkus.
- Integrate workflows with React applications, Node.js microservices, REST APIs, Pub/Sub events, and enterprise systems.
- Develop decision models, business rules, and DMN decision tables.
- Implement workflow monitoring, audit trails, process versioning, recovery mechanisms, and governance standards.
- Support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and maintain platform stability.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, QA, and DevOps teams across design, development, testing, and release cycles.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of workflow or BPM implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kogito, jBPM, Camunda, or similar BPM platforms.
- Strong Java and Quarkus experience with cloud-native application development on Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with BPMN 2.0, DMN, workflow orchestration, business process management, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Git and Maven.
- Knowledge of GKE, Apigee X, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL PostgreSQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Preferred experience with enterprise workflow modernization, workflow governance and compliance frameworks, Kubernetes operations, containerized deployments, cloud-native design patterns, event-driven integrations, and regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
