Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account managers, clients, internal teams, and third parties to define and document business and technical requirements.
- Design Evertz equipment-based systems and refine solutions into final quotations and supporting documentation.
- Lead proposal creation, bid-set documentation, design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.
- Provide client demonstrations and proof-of-concept documentation as required.
- Identify and manage project risks, document assumptions, and coordinate mitigation activities before deployment.
- Act as the technical authority during design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering.
- Build relationships with new customers while maintaining the existing customer base.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Electronics engineering or similar education.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying file-based workflow solutions.
- Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full-lifecycle, end-to-end, client-facing enterprise projects.
- Experience with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, nonlinear distribution, automated transcoding, quality control, and business or traffic systems.
- Familiarity with BXF and industry-standard traffic solutions.
- Experience with broadcast IT and network infrastructure.
- Understanding of application integration with business systems using XML as an interchange format.
- Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
- Strong written, verbal, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and self-motivation skills.
