Base Salary
$169k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, production-grade AI, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions across the enterprise.
- Design autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, LLM selection and routing, RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool or function-calling patterns.
- Consult with division and domain architects and establish an enterprise AI solutions architecture practice.
- Define and lead technology proofs of concept, conduct hands-on prototyping, and evaluate emerging AI platform and architecture technologies.
- Develop architecture priorities, target states, roadmaps, and modernization strategies aligned with business goals.
- Establish governance, risk, control, responsible AI, ethics, bias mitigation, and model risk management practices.
- Track AI platform and agentic technology roadmaps, communicate competitive insights, and identify enterprise opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with senior Technology and Business leadership, build organizational buy-in, communicate architectural direction, and mentor architecture and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM or technology field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least 7 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience and 2 years of technical leadership experience.
- Advanced architecture capability and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies and complex, large-scale technology strategies.
- Proven experience defining scalable, production-grade AI systems and distributed or parallel processing architectures.
- Hands-on AI/ML development and deployment expertise, including ML algorithms, neural networks, optimization, linear algebra, statistics, and probability.
- Experience with MLOps, AIOps, CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML systems, multimodal AI, autonomous AI systems, reinforcement learning, and decision-making frameworks.
- Experience with agentic patterns, tool use, function calling, API integration, memory systems, RAG, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Experience with LangChain, Strands, Crew AI, Model Context Protocol, Agent2Agent, AWS Bedrock, and AgentCore; Azure Foundry, Agent 365, or GCP/Gemini AI experience is optional.
- Experience with transformer architectures, LLMs, diffusion models, VAEs, GANs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RLHF.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Enterprise/CLI/Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, responsible AI, EU AI Act, GDPR, AI governance, and model risk management.
- Advanced leadership, communication, collaboration, strategic planning, business acumen, and mentoring skills; insurance technology and industry experience is preferred.
