Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy backend services for minting, custody, and settlement of tokenized equities on Robinhood Chain.
- Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements that meet strict correctness and scalability requirements.
- Integrate traditional brokerage, ledger, and corporate-action infrastructure with on-chain systems, including smart contracts, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
- Improve system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, client, and platform teams to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Backend development expertise in Go, Python, or Java and a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Strong system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to design correctness-critical systems involving idempotency, reconciliation, and failure-mode analysis when handling money.
- Track record of owning and delivering high-quality projects end to end in cross-functional environments.
- Interest in blockchain fundamentals such as EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement, or willingness to learn them quickly.
