Base Salary
$149k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support ecosystem partners, including enterprise solution providers, XR technology partners, and device OEMs, in creating XR solutions.
- Design and support partner demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and pilot deployments.
- Architect solutions that meet project requirements while coordinating with multiple Qualcomm technical and product teams.
- Act as a liaison and escalation point between Qualcomm’s XR engineering team and partner engineering teams.
- Design, build, test, debug, and support XR solutions end to end.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years, master’s degree and 3+ years, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant software applications engineering or software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with debugging techniques.
- Preferred experience with XR SDKs and platforms including Unity, Unreal, Oculus, Vive, Magic Leap, Nreal, and Qualcomm.
- Preferred Android OS development or framework experience, Unity 3D development, shader and rendering pipeline knowledge, and camera, display, video, or graphics experience.
- Preferred C, C++, and C# development skills, mobile or XR systems architecture experience, and up to 3 years of embedded software systems experience.
- Ability to own assignments through completion, collaborate across distributed teams, work independently, and maintain a customer- and solutions-centric focus.
