Base Salary
$130k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and support XR solutions end-to-end.
- Architect and support partner demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilot deployments.
- Collaborate with Qualcomm technical and product teams to meet project requirements.
- Act as a liaison and escalation point between Qualcomm’s XR engineering team and ecosystem partners.
- Develop solutions using AR/VR software, mobile systems, and XR technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field plus 4+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 3+ years or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with debugging techniques.
- Preferred experience includes XR SDKs, Unity 3D, Unreal, Android development, shaders, rendering pipelines, camera, display, video, graphics, software architecture, troubleshooting, and up to 3 years of embedded software systems experience.
- Strong customer and solutions focus, analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership, communication, independence, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
