Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices supporting iOS, Android, and Easyweb user interfaces.
- Design and build REST APIs according to business requirements and architectural guidelines.
- Perform unit and system integration testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis for application defects.
- Apply secure coding practices and maintain high-quality, reusable, and maintainable software.
- Participate in peer code reviews, documentation, and collaborative work within Agile Scrum teams.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize work to meet delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or higher education in a technology-related program such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or Computing.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and Postman.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs using Java.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong coding, debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Kafka, SQL, Jira, Confluence, and cloud technologies is preferred or considered an asset.
- Experience with AI tools such as Copilot.
- Selected candidates must complete a technical assessment.

- Base compensation is CAD $81,600–$115,200, with eligibility for discretionary variable compensation.

- The role is primarily onsite at a TD location in London, Ontario, with standard Monday–Friday business hours.
