Base Salary
$183k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on cloud security, compliance, and secure foundational cloud implementations.
- Design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions on Google Cloud Platform to meet or exceed customer security requirements.
- Guide customers through migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in GCP.
- Manage customer stakeholders, build consensus, and lead positive customer outcomes.
- Create and deliver best-practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Engineering to improve Google Cloud products and features.
- Travel up to 30% in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects through completion.
- Programming experience in one or more general-purpose languages, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Preferred experience securing Google Cloud or other cloud environments.
- Preferred experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA security requirements in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of attack and mitigation methods across at least two security areas, such as secure network design, web application security, penetration testing, access control, cryptography, monitoring, incident response, or security tooling.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles.
