Base Salary
$169k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable C++ firmware for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout the mission lifecycle.
- Own software design, development, testing, integration, verification, and validation.
- Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Build bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based software for embedded processors.
- Develop highly reliable and available software systems and provide flight operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least 5 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing and testing real-time embedded hardware and software systems.
- Experience developing in C++ and strong understanding of C++ language concepts.
- Preferred: aerospace safety-critical software experience, Python or Rust experience, and knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and computer networking.
