Responsibilities
- Design and build ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
- Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Develop clean, testable ABAP code integrated with AI services and enterprise APIs.
- Build agentic workflows involving tools, planners, memory, orchestration, and evaluation loops.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines with SAP Cloud services for grounded responses.
- Build chunking, indexing, embeddings, and context-assembly capabilities for production RAG scenarios.
- Implement evaluation frameworks, authorization guardrails, privacy controls, action boundaries, error handling, telemetry, and logging.
- Prototype rapidly, incorporate business feedback, and move AI solutions into enterprise-grade SAP production systems.
Requirements
- SAP ABAP Cloud experience, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
- Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
- Minimum 15 years of experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, and cloud services is strongly beneficial.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks or custom orchestration logic is strongly beneficial.
- Exposure to vector databases, search, or semantic indexing is strongly beneficial.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns is strongly beneficial.
