Responsibilities
- Develop complex code from functional specifications across teams and programs.
- Design logic and algorithms in alignment with established software standards.
- Maintain and improve the codebase, data design, performance, security, reliability, and quality attributes.
- Contribute to software architecture and establish implementation standards and guidelines.
- Conduct complex peer code reviews and analyze the broader impact of software changes.
- Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Lead and contribute to delivery-pipeline implementation, including test automation, security, performance, continuous software delivery, and continuous integration practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience overseeing complex systems analysis, design, and development programs.
- Mastery of one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Java/Spring or Angular/TypeScript.
- Significant experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Significant demonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelines.
- Experience with continuous software delivery, test automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Expertise in guiding and growing the technical skills of fellow team members is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and program leadership is preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and executive-presence skills are preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership mentoring teams through conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and shipping quality deliverables is preferred.
