Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teammates through in-person conversations, pull requests, and online discussions.
- Work with engineers across Apple on cross-functional projects and help diagnose difficult issues.
- Design and implement performance optimizations, security mitigations, and tooling improvements.
- Drive testing, integration, and adoption of changes across the development ecosystem and operating systems.
- Engage in hardware/software co-design and influence future Apple Silicon hardware.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate through technical writing.
- Experience with software design and programming in C++ or Swift, among other languages.
- Familiarity with algorithms and data structures.
- Curiosity about how code and processes work under the hood.
- Ability and motivation to investigate and learn unfamiliar areas.
- Receptiveness to constructive feedback and mentorship.
