Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java enterprise applications and microservices.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available APIs and integration components.
- Participate in analysis, development, deployment, and production support across the software lifecycle.
- Implement technical improvements, refactoring, and practices that reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
- Design event-driven and distributed solutions using applicable architecture patterns.
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering quality standards.
- Design testing strategies and ensure appropriate unit-test coverage.
- Optimize queries, data structures, and integration components.
- Analyze and resolve complex production incidents.
- Provide technical support and mentor junior and semi-senior developers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience, including Java development.
- Strong experience with Java 11 and Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JDBC, JPA, microservices, and Quarkus.
- Experience with reactive programming using Reactor, WebFlux, or RxJava.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs using OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle, JUnit, Lombok, automated testing, BDD, and code reviews.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, Saga, Event Sourcing, and CQRS patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL, plus NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB or MongoDB, and Redis Cache.
- Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure PaaS services.
- Experience in cloud-native environments and knowledge of CI/CD, SonarQube, refactoring, clean code, OWASP, and secure development.
- Desirable knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Serverless architectures, AWS, Dynatrace, OpenShift, Databricks, Docker Swarm, OLTP, OLAP, Data Mart, Data Vault, SRE, APM, IaaS, Infrastructure as Code, and automated penetration and vulnerability testing.
- Strong technical autonomy, analytical thinking, communication, complex problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and results orientation.
