Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and microservices architectures.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, high-performance APIs and integration components.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis through deployment and production support.
- Implement technical-debt reduction, maintainability improvements, architecture patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Design and implement event-driven and distributed solutions using technologies such as Apache Kafka.
- Perform code reviews and promote development standards within the team.
- Design testing strategies and ensure appropriate unit-test coverage.
- Optimize queries, data structures, and integration components.
- Resolve complex incidents in production environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced developers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 11 and Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JDBC, JPA, microservices, and Quarkus.
- Experience with reactive programming using Reactor, WebFlux, or RxJava.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Experience with Maven and/or Gradle, JUnit, Lombok, and code reviews.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, Saga, Event Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing, and CQRS patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL, and knowledge of CosmosDB or MongoDB.
- Experience with Redis Cache, HashiCorp Vault, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions; knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure PaaS.
- Experience applying CI/CD practices and knowledge of SonarQube, refactoring, Clean Code, OWASP, and secure development.
- Knowledge of software architecture, layered design, components, services, Cache Aside, OLTP, OLAP, Data Mart, Data Vault, SRE, APM, IaaS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Desirable knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Serverless architectures, AWS, Dynatrace, OpenShift, Databricks, Docker Swarm, infrastructure components, networks, and load balancers.
- Technical autonomy, analytical thinking, effective communication, complex problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and results orientation.
