Responsibilities

Define architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards for mission-critical applications.
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, high-performance Java enterprise solutions.
Drive cloud-native and microservices modernization initiatives.
Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and resolve complex architectural challenges.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders on technology investments.
Mentor senior engineers and promote engineering excellence, innovation, and best practices.
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities, AI-powered APIs, and enterprise AI services.
Drive governance, security, privacy, responsible AI practices, and architectural decisions related to AI adoption.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
Extensive experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
Strong experience leading architecture and development across multiple teams.
Expertise in Java, J2EE/Jakarta EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, microservices, distributed computing, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, and Angular.
Experience with event-driven systems, messaging frameworks, API gateways, high-volume transaction processing, application security, scalability, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
Experience evaluating and integrating AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI-powered APIs or services.
Preferred experience in payments, financial services, FinTech, regulated industries, enterprise architecture, cloud certifications, modernization initiatives, or industry thought leadership.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, architectural thinking, mentoring, and influencing skills.
