Base Salary
$131k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 3–6 DevOps and subject matter specialists, including hiring, performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, coaching, mentoring, task assignment, and technical training.
- Lead customer-site implementation, deployment, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and acceptance activities for NCR Voyix Emerald software solutions.
- Consult with customers on Windows components, third-party frameworks, networks, security hardening, deployment automation, SQL databases, POS images, and technical procedures.
- Manage physical and virtual NCR Voyix Emerald professional services labs and report lab status and installation progress to project managers and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Azure cloud environments with Ansible and Jenkins Pipelines for subject matter experts, quality assurance, and support teams.
- Lead PowerShell and batch-script automation for software deployment and monitoring on physical and virtual labs.
- Provide technical direction to customers and third-party vendors, support quality assurance testing, and document deployment procedures and software configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology in Electronics and Communications, or a related technical field.
- Six years of experience in a technical software occupation, including Windows OS hardening and security, distributed software deployment, customer consulting, and technical team leadership.
- Six years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation, tuning, troubleshooting, and SQL query creation.
- Six years of experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, deployment automation and monitoring, scripting, message brokers such as RabbitMQ, and distributed software architecture.
- Six years of experience providing technical direction, managing software delivery processes, authoring technical specifications and implementation instructions, and integrating distributed retail software in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Six years of experience with retail industry software, including POS and loyalty systems, and Web Services APIs.
- Professional credential evaluation is accepted for foreign-equivalent education, and references are required.
