Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of modern, responsive, scalable web applications.
- Architect and own front-end solutions, reusable component libraries, and enterprise UI standards.
- Develop user interfaces with React, Angular, Next.js, or similar frameworks while ensuring accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python.
- Mentor development teams on architecture, coding practices, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, and engineering teams.
- Drive code reviews, engineering standards, quality governance, and engineering productivity improvements.
- Use AI agents and AI-native development tools for code generation, testing, documentation, and review.
- Implement automated unit, integration, API, and UI testing.
- Lead cloud-native deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in technical leadership roles.
- Expert proficiency with React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and modern UI patterns.
- Hands-on backend development experience with Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python.
- Experience developing APIs with REST and GraphQL and integrating front-end applications with enterprise backend services.
- Cloud-native development experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and Git.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Workspace, or Cursor.
- Preferred experience includes micro frontends, server-side rendering, static site generation, event-driven architectures, message queues, observability, enterprise SaaS, GenAI, agentic AI, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is desired.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Google Professional Cloud Developer, or front-end and AI-native development certifications are preferred.
