Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Heidi Remote Android application.
- Build and maintain Bluetooth connectivity, device synchronization, and settings flows.
- Deliver Remote V2 pairing and clinic or hospital Wi‑Fi onboarding experiences with product and design teams.
- Collaborate with iOS and Desktop teams on cross-platform device behavior.
- Partner with backend and factory-side firmware teams on integration and rollout.
- Improve reliability, performance, privacy, security, and production quality while monitoring field issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional Android development experience.
- Fluency in Kotlin and the Android ecosystem, including modern Android and Jetpack.
- Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean architecture.
- Experience with Bluetooth or other connected and IoT-style devices.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, offline-friendly patterns, and production debugging.
- Ability to own features end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-agency environment.
- Mandarin is a plus for factory and vendor coordination.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include Wi‑Fi or enterprise network setup, Google Play release experience, iOS or cross-platform collaboration, and healthcare or regulated-product experience.
