Responsibilities
- Drive software features through requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Design and develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, and distributed applications.
- Translate business and system requirements into robust, maintainable, and extensible software solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and long-term platform improvements.
- Write production-ready code emphasizing performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and successful feature releases.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering practices across development, testing, documentation, and automation.
- Support production deployments, customer escalations, and operational activities.
- Share technical knowledge and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering production software systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and working knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreaded programming.
- Experience developing backend applications with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data-driven application design.
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience on medium-to-large-scale software projects with measurable business impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, scalable platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing frameworks, observability, monitoring, production support tools, large-scale data processing, analytics, data platforms, and software interacting with complex systems, hardware, or infrastructure.
