Responsibilities
- Build and extend an agentic harness for game logic generation, including tool orchestration, context management, and engine integration.
- Integrate creator-focused generative systems into core game engine architecture.
- Implement sandboxed execution, permissioned tool access, content-safety and IP checks, and human review points.
- Build automated evaluation and regression suites that assess compilation, loading, frame rate, and intent matching of generated games.
- Partner with engine developers, researchers, engineers, artists, and designers to bring prototypes into production.
- Design extensible interfaces and define how new technologies are productized within the engine.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with AAA game engines such as Frostbite, Unity, Unreal, Godot, or proprietary engines.
- Expertise in C++.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with agentic harnesses and workflows including Claude Code, Codex, or Opencode.
- Experience with context engineering, graph engineering, and long-running workflow orchestration.
- Experience in one or more game engine domains, such as gameplay, simulation, systems, content pipelines, or performance-critical systems.
