Responsibilities
- Understand business processes, workflows, and data flows across Microsoft’s sales ecosystem and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and agentify them.
- Rapidly prototype proofs of concept and iterate on solutions using experimentation-driven engineering.
- Design, build, and ship scalable, production-quality features and intelligent services.
- Integrate systems, data, and signals into cohesive AI-powered workflows across teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance using telemetry and diagnostics.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and developer productivity through continuous improvement.
- Build secure, compliant, and responsible AI solutions for production scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on coding in C#, Java, Python, or React.
- Experience with AI-native development using agent harnesses such as GitHub Copilot CLI and coding agents.
- Ability to author Markdown specifications and ADRs and YAML configurations as agent-consumable inputs.
- Experience orchestrating multi-step agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle and reviewing agent-generated code and pull requests with production-grade rigor.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and scalable systems.
- Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software and leveraging large language models.
- Strong problem-solving, technical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, Copilot technologies, multiple programming languages and development frameworks, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Git, Claude, GitHub Copilot, security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles.
