Responsibilities
- Build and architect scalable user-facing features and reusable UI components with React.js and Next.js.
- Use Next.js Server-Side Rendering, Static Site Generation, Incremental Static Regeneration, and the App Router to improve performance and SEO.
- Translate wireframes and high-fidelity Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive frontend code.
- Manage complex application state and implement data fetching, caching, and error handling.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints and collaborate with backend developers on API contracts and data structures.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and Core Web Vitals across devices and browsers.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience is stated for the ReactJS Lead Developer role; the qualifications section also lists 3–5+ years of professional frontend web development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of React principles, Hooks, lifecycle concepts, and functional components.
- Hands-on production experience with Next.js, including familiarity with the Pages Router and App Router.
- Strong CSS skills and experience with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled-Components.
- Experience with data-fetching and caching libraries such as React Query/TanStack Query, SWR, or Axios.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative repository workflows using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Preferred experience includes Node.js, Express, NestJS, Next.js API Routes, GraphQL, Apollo Client, Urql, Vercel, AWS Amplify, Docker, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, Sanity, Strapi, and Contentful.
- Open-source contributions or a strong personal portfolio are preferred.
