Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of high-performance analytics platforms.
- Drive technical leadership across the software development lifecycle and unblock teams.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable software through hands-on contribution and strategic leadership.
- Translate business requirements into robust software solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Champion clean, maintainable code and modern software engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience with increasing technical ownership and impact.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership in architecture and design decisions.
- Experience developing data-driven backend applications, including Postgres, data modeling, and data architecture design.
- Expertise in Java and proficiency with frontend technologies such as ReactJS.
- Advanced object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience leading scalable software system design and implementation.
- Preferred experience managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Preferred familiarity with API testing, load testing, and unit testing using modern tools.
- Preferred experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
