Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement API, EDI, and B2B integrations connecting Pipe17 customers with retailers and logistics providers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver the API/EDI/B2B roadmap.
- Configure and customize mappings, transformations, and workflows for data exchange between trading partners and Pipe17 systems.
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug EDI/B2B processes for accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and enhancements.
- Track emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in API/EDI/B2B development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven API platform development experience, with hands-on EDI/B2B experience preferred, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP, and SFTP.
- Experience with EDI onboarding and ANSI X12 messaging for invoices, purchase orders, acknowledgments, advance shipping notices, functional acknowledgments, and payment remittances is a bonus.
- Proven experience with HTML, CSS, Node.js, and JavaScript; TypeScript experience is a plus.
- Experience developing custom scripts and automation tools for EDI/B2B integration.
- Understanding of B2B communication protocols, XML and JSON data formats, and data mapping and transformation techniques.
- Experience with EDI translation software such as Gentran or Sterling B2B Integrator and with EDI VANs.
- Certification in EDI/B2B integration, such as Certified EDI Professional, is preferred.
- Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi is desirable.
- Knowledge of ecommerce is required; supply chain management, logistics, and retail industry knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and client/vendor support skills.
