Responsibilities
- Design and develop upgrade-safe Dynamics 365 FSCM extensions and X++ customizations across ERP forms, tables, entities, classes, workflows, business events, and batch jobs.
- Build and maintain OData, REST API, Data Management Framework, custom service, business event, and batch-based integrations.
- Support Dual-write and Dataverse integrations and connect ERP with middleware, external systems, payment platforms, portals, mobile applications, and reporting platforms.
- Develop SSRS, electronic, financial, operational, statutory, and management reports and support data extraction and reconciliation.
- Diagnose and optimize performance across code, queries, reports, integrations, batch jobs, and customizations.
- Perform unit testing, peer reviews, technical impact assessments, release readiness checks, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and defect correction.
- Use Azure DevOps for work items, repositories, branches, pull requests, build and release pipelines, deployment coordination, and environment management.
- Support technical ERP configuration for Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, Sales, Supply Chain, manufacturing, tax, integrations, and security.
- Prepare technical specifications, deployment notes, test evidence, rollback plans, release approvals, and support handover documentation.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Cloud and DevOps Engineers, QA Engineers, Functional Consultants, Product Owners, and Solution Architects.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of backend or ERP development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics 365 FSCM technical development.
- Strong hands-on X++ development experience and understanding of Dynamics 365 ERP data models, entities, business processes, transaction flows, extension patterns, event handlers, Chain of Command, services, batch frameworks, security roles, and deployment packages.
- Strong experience designing and consuming OData and REST APIs, with experience in Data Management Framework, custom services, business events, and batch integration patterns.
- Experience delivering ERP integrations, customizations, reports, and production support in a multi-module ERP environment.
- Experience developing SSRS reports and writing efficient queries for reporting, reconciliation, analytics, and data extraction.
- Practical Azure DevOps experience with repositories, branches, pull requests, work items, build pipelines, release pipelines, source control, code review, and release documentation.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues and understand security roles, duties, privileges, segregation-of-duties impacts, least-privilege design, upgrade compatibility, and regression risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate, Azure, Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Preferred experience with Dual-write, Dataverse, Power Platform, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Power BI datasets or data models, Dynamics AX 2012 migrations, and multi-company or multi-country ERP rollouts.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, ownership, independent-working, and production-support skills.
