Base Salary

$131k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS using Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Develop serverless and containerized applications using Lambda, ECS/EKS, and API Gateway.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Design and optimize data-storage solutions using DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, and ElastiCache.
  • Establish security practices including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product and engineering teams.
  • Lead complex architectural analysis and detailed technical design for end-to-end solutions.
  • Collaborate with development staff, contract and offshore engineers, and business product owners in an agile environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, recommend cost-conscious solutions, prepare presentations, and lead development meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of software development experience, including 5 or more years focused on AWS.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, and Route 53.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture, networking, CI/CD, security, observability, Docker, container orchestration, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Strong technical communication, presentation, problem-solving, customer-focus, organization, and deadline-management skills.
  • Master’s degree, Amazon Connect experience, AWS or Microsoft certifications, and financial-services knowledge are preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Bedrock, SageMaker, data warehousing, ETL, big data, streaming analytics, and machine-learning implementations.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification is preferred.

  • Minimum travel of up to 10% and occasional work outside normal business hours may be required.
