Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply Generative AI and Large Language Models to deliver relevant and personalized advertising and shopping experiences.
- Design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed systems for Sponsored Products and Brands advertising.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and services for ad retrieval, allocation, whole-page relevance, and recommendations.
- Design globally scalable solutions and deliver iterative customer value.
- Collaborate with applied scientists, product managers, and engineers on end-to-end solutions.
- Write maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Improve operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
