Responsibilities
- Own and enforce multi-account AWS Organization guardrails for security, compliance, governance, and streamlined account management.
- Build, manage, and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Configure and provision AWS networking, compute, container, database, storage, security, and application services.
- Operate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, including environment promotion and automated post-release Git merges.
- Provide incident response support by managing SLOs and SLIs, maintaining runbooks, troubleshooting issues, and reviewing logs.
- Manage Linux system hardening, AMI baking, operating system upgrades, patching, monitoring, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Manage AWS financial operations, including savings plans and Reserved Instance modeling, cost metrics, tagging, and anomaly detection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, WAF/Shield, CloudFront, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, RDS/Redshift, IAM, Organizations, and Control Tower.
- Strong experience with CloudFormation and Terraform, including modules and workspaces.
- Practical experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
- Familiarity with artifact and versioning strategies, AWS CDK, SES domain management, SCIM/Okta, and WordPress cloud hosting.
- Expertise in Linux system hardening, Packer-based AMI baking, operating system upgrades, and patching.
- Understanding of VPC design, security groups, WAF, Route 53, TLS, rate limiting, geo-allow listing, and network security configurations.
- Experience managing AWS financials, including savings plans, Reserved Instance modeling, CUR, cost metrics, tagging strategies, and anomaly detection.
- Proficiency with CloudWatch, telemetry, alarms, logs, tracing, Bash, and Python.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certification preferred.
