Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise business applications.
  • Develop and maintain Workato or comparable iPaaS workflows using integration design patterns, error handling, and monitoring practices.
  • Serve as a Salesforce subject-matter expert and perform light administration, including fields, page layouts, permission sets, and flows.
  • Translate business processes such as Lead-to-Cash into scalable integration workflows with Revenue Operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integration issues across cloud applications to maintain data accuracy and service reliability.
  • Document integration architecture, data flows, and design decisions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with SaaS vendor support teams on issues involving applications, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Support Salesforce release management and coordinate integration testing alongside platform changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on integration development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, sharing model, data structure, and some Salesforce administration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Workato or a comparable iPaaS platform such as Zapier, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as NetSuite, Snowflake, HubSpot, and Gong and their CRM integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, pub/sub, event-driven architecture, and ETL/data transformation.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and API keys.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and technical communication skills.
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS is preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certifications and Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi certifications are preferred.
