Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications.
- Create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones.
- Automate feature tests using existing frameworks and augment libraries for new functionalities.
- Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Perform a mix of automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
- Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
- Report, track, and update issues and test cases using management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality benchmarks throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Good understanding of networking and cloud architecture, preferably with AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python or Java, with a preference for Python.
- Strong shell scripting ability and hands-on experience with SQL databases.
- Experience in REST API testing and backend automation.
- Familiarity with UI automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jira, XRay, and Jenkins.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Exposure to load and performance testing tools.
- B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech or equivalent qualification.
