Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
- Create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones and feature completion.
- Use and extend automation frameworks and libraries to automate feature tests.
- Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories.
- Perform automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
- Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
- Report, track, and update issues and test cases using management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality benchmarks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Generate functional test cases with AI and automate those test cases.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., M.E., M.Tech, or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Python or Java, with Python preferred.
- Strong shell scripting ability and hands-on experience with SQL databases.
- Strong experience with REST API testing and backend automation.
- Experience with UI automation, preferably Selenium or Playwright.
- Proficiency with Git, Jira, XRay, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, Windows, networking, and cloud architecture fundamentals.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure services across networking, storage, and compute.
- Exposure to load and performance testing and related tools.
- Ability to leverage AI for routine testing tasks, including generating and automating functional test cases.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience testing AWS or Azure workloads, including resource setup, debugging, and monitoring, are desirable.
- Exposure to generative AI tools such as Cursor is desirable.
