Responsibilities
- Own the full on-premises product lifecycle, from investigation and implementation through building and customer delivery.
- Support product stability and security by updating dependencies and implementing new standards and protocols.
- Continuously improve software reliability.
- Support on-premises customers migrating to the Celonis Platform.
- Improve and automate development processes.
- Set an example for, mentor, and help grow teammates.
- Contribute to a fun and inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Experience working in geographically distributed environments.
- Ability to address enterprise challenges involving security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
- Experience with microservices-based distributed systems.
- Understanding of complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
- Experience with AI-powered IDEs and code generation tools is highly desired.
- Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems, including standard tools, commands, services, permissions, debugging, profiling, and application and system logs, is highly desired.
