Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of software applications.
- Guide and mentor development teams through code reviews and technical coaching.
- Oversee development processes, coding standards, and delivery quality.
- Resolve technical roadblocks and mitigate development risks.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and technical leaders on cohesive, scalable system architecture.
- Build, deploy, and host applications and pipelines on Azure.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements, meetings, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Support incident, change management, and transition processes.
- Promote reusability, continuous improvement, and adoption of appropriate emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development, solution design, technical leadership, and programme delivery.
- Experience with .NET Core full-stack development, including Razor Pages, MVC, and Web APIs.
- Significant experience with Azure cloud technologies, application hosting, and pipeline deployment.
- Experience with application design and architecture, secure software design, and software security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms and environments.
- Experience with Sitefinity, Figma, .NET Frameworks, database platforms, RESTful API development, front-end frameworks, and web development.
- Experience with networking and server technologies and a broad range of IT environments, platforms, and applications.
- Experience with work coordination, scheduling, resource planning, stakeholder management, incident management, change management, and transition processes.
- Strong documentation, writing, presentation, organizational, leadership, communication, and technical mentoring skills.
- IT qualification at degree level or equivalent work experience.
