Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advance the modern Android-based system stack focusing on fleet stability.
- Drive the 5G upgrade roadmap for edge devices.
- Ensure robust network connectivity in challenging outdoor environments.
- Optimize power consumption to maximize battery life.
- Debug complex system-level issues across hardware and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address fleet anomalies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems or OS-level development.
- Deep expertise in low-level Android OS architectures, including system initialization and file systems.
- Strong knowledge of SELinux security policies and permissions management.
- Hands-on experience with cellular connectivity stack, including LTE/5G modems.
- Proficiency in networking technologies, including TCP/IP protocols and Wi-Fi.
